Ivan Ivanov and Bashy Quraishy, human rights advocates

The event featured the voice of two human rights advocates: Bashy Quraishy, Chair of the Advisory Council - ENAR (European Network Against Racism), Chair of the Jewish Muslim Co-operation Platform, and Ivan Ivanov, Director of the European Roma Information Office - ERIO

Cultural racism, intercultural living and equality, integration and sense of belonging and others were the issues of this evening of discussion.

This conference was an initiative of the Brussels Committee for the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was launched on 10 December 2007 by a group of concerned organizations from diverse backgrounds, all committed to improve human rights: European Foundation for Human Rights and Tolerance; Protestant Liberal Church of Bruxelles; Media Watch; European Human Rights Office, Church of Scientology International; Youth for Human Rights International; Global Human Rights Defence.
