Human Rights educational tools for Congolese mothers
BRUSSELS - A group of Congolese mothers from the Prevention and Mediation service of the African community (part of a Belgian humanitarian organization led by Mother Mwadi of Madou), were recently welcomed by Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) at the premises of the Church of Scientology International European Office for Public Affairs & Human Rights. Their common interest: helping the youth.

Church of Scientology of Milano and Youth for Human Rights Sponsor New School in Ghana
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is very clear - education is a basic human right. Yet an education was only a dream to some 300 elementary school children in Acra, Ghana. Now, thanks to the work of the people of Milano, Italy, spearheaded by the Church of Scientology of Milano and the Milano chapter of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI), this dream has become a fact. They are now attending classes at the UNTOMA Oxford International School in Acra.

The Right to Play — Not-So-Serious Business
Copenhagen—This year's Africa Day celebration in Copenhagen marked the inauguration of the "Right to Play Cup," a human rights soccer championship co-organized by the Danish African Soccer Academy (DASAC) and Youth for Human Rights Denmark. DASAC is the creation of former professional soccer player Hamid Faiz Junior and the event sought to encourage young African children in the city to become involved in sports, not drugs and crime.

European Human Rights Award event focuses on putting an end to modern day slavery
Brussels — With an estimated 1.2 million children trafficked every year, the need to put an end to modern slavery was the emphasis of a ceremony held in Brussels to honor four "Human Rights Heroes" in Brussels last week. The event was co-organized by Youth for Human Rights International and the European Foundation for Human Rights and Tolerance with the support of United Sikhs International, the Church of Scientology International European Human Rights Office and the Help the Needy Foundation of Bulgaria.
